About GRE
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is one of the most widely accepted admission tests for graduate and business programs in the U.S. and several other top study destinations worldwide. Universities use GRE scores, along with academic records, to evaluate an applicant’s readiness for postgraduate studies.
Conducted by the non-profit organization ETS (Educational Testing Service), the GRE assesses skills in critical thinking, analytical writing, quantitative reasoning, and verbal reasoning.
Aspiring students can take the GRE up to five times within a 12-month period, with a minimum gap of 21 days between each attempt.
