The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses the English language skills of individuals aiming to study, work, or migrate to countries where English is the primary mode of communication.

The test is conducted globally by the British Council (UK) and IDP (Australia) and is offered in two versions:

  • Academic IELTS – For those applying to higher education institutions or seeking professional registration in English-speaking countries.

  • General IELTS – For individuals planning to migrate to countries like Australia, Canada, or the UK.

There is no limit on the number of times you can take the IELTS test. It is held 4–5 times each month, and the results remain valid for two years.

1. Reading Section3 Sections, Time Allotted – 20 mins. for each section.
2. Listening Section4 Section, Time Allotted – 30 mins.
3. Speaking SectionTime Allotted – 11 to 15 mins
4. Writing Section2 Sections, Time Allotted – 20 mins for 1 section and 40 mins for other section
